Dr. Herbert Hunt

I have accumulated 44 years in education working with students in grades Kindergarten through Graduate School. During this time I have come to the conclusion that good staff development and in-service programs are one of the most important factors needed so that educators can maintain and develop their knowledge, skills and disposition. When educators focus on these three areas the result will be increased student achievement.

It then becomes the responsibility of the educators with the assistance of individual citizens, political leaders and members of the business community to help in as many ways as we can to insure that this goal is met.

We are all a product of our education. From the one room school that was the beginning of my formal education to the large consolidated school district where I graduated I must say that I could not be more pleased with the education I received. For me and millions of others the education we received has been an important factor in the success we enjoy today. However, it is not acceptable to sit on the sidelines and accept the status quo. Everyone in the community must be part of today’s education so that we can be secure in the knowledge that our children and grandchildren are also receiving a positive experience like their parents and grandparents did.

HH Education Events wants to contribute by bringing together educators and the business community so that future generations can live happy and productive lives.
